I’m back!

Hey everyone! I haven’t posted in absolutely ages! It feels good to be sitting and writing once again. I feel it is very therapeutic in some way too. I love the thought of sending all my worries out onto the internet. There is definitely something comforting about reading all your lovely comments.

Currently, I am struggling with my blindness. I have mentioned in my YouTube videos that I a, attending counselling sessions to help straighten out my thoughts. I actually said this week in my session that I want to have more good days than bad. Obviously everyone wants that! However before Christmas this was;t the case for myself. I am slowly getting there and you guys being so supportive certainly helps a lot! I was starting to think about when I first lost my vision and I have come a long way but I still don’t feel as if I have finished the grieving process yet. I don’t even know if I ever will finish but it must get better than this!

I tell myself to stay positive as I have a lot to be thankful for in my life.

Speak soon,

Lucy x

Sleek iDivine Eyeshadow Palette in 568 Sunset – Review and swatches

Now, here are swatches of each shade:

Top Row:

Shades L-R: Matte black, metallic red, intense metallic amber with brown, true orange with sheen, yellow gold with sheen, mid blue with sheen.

Bottom Row:

Bottom Row (L-R): Metallic brown-bronze, metallic red-bronze, metallic copper, metallic white gold, golden pink metallic and finally a pale pink champagne.

  • All the eyeshadows in this pallette are extremely pigmented with high colour payoff, we were very impressed with the quality of these shadows, even the black has amazing pigmentation.
  • The texture is very creamy and they are easy to apply and are comfortable on the eyes and will last all day with an eye primer.
  • The matte black eyeshadow doesn’t kick up alot of product so this black would be suitable to use if you had low vision as it’s easy to blend making it not as intimidating as other black shadows.
  • There is a wide variety of beautiful metallic shades for using on the lid.
  • Has a nice big mirror on the compact

  • There was only one matte in the palette which would make it hard to use this palette in isolation without adding additional mattes from your collection

In mine and my sister’s opinion these are the benefits of the Urban Decay liners:

  1. These eye liners are really easy to apply and the colour payoff is instant.
  2. The true colour comes off with one swipe.
  3. They are safe to wear with contact lenses as they are so creamy and they don’t hurt your eyes.
  4. These eye liners are really accessible as even when not sharpened they don’t hurt to apply.
  5. They haven’t got any wood so they don’t hurt.
  6. They last a long time and don’t smudge.
  7. They wear off on the water line after a few hours but this is like any other liner.

LOVE them! We rate these 9 out of 10!
